This Historic Bed and Breakfast offers 8 rooms , a private Bungalow- and a fully furnished historic home called the "Croatan Cottage". All of our Inn rooms offer private entrances, private baths, tv, ac,wifi.charging stations, beautifully appointed. 5 of our rooms will sleep 2 with King beds. 3 rooms will sleep 3-4 guests. RecommendedWe had the most wonderful time at the Roanoke last weekend, was a perfect start to our beach vacation! The innkeeper Whitney was very helpful and welcoming, from reservation through check-in and beyond. The premises, inside and out, are well taken care of and beautiful! (grateful for the inn-keeper’s pantry too!). The location is perfect, in a great spot to access many activities, including walking the boardwalk every morning. Will be visiting again for sure!

Beautiful Inn on a beautiful island! The Inn keeper, Whitney, makes this place sing. She's attentive, friendly, helpful and just a joy to talk with. The Bungalow was perfect for our vacation! Highly recommend this lovely spot.

My daughter got married in Manteo Oct 26. The groom's party stayed at the Inn. The bride's party stayed at the Croatan Cottage. From the moment we checked in (they allowed us to check in early since we were traveling from out of town), on Friday, the cottage was absolutely perfect. A thoughtful, handwritten note was left for my daughter wishing her well and letting us know that they were just a phone call away, should we need for anything. Quant little place nice rooms
We went to Nags Head last weekend and stayed at two different places. The Roanoke Inn was the second place we stayed and by FAR our favorite. From the time we checked in, Ms. Sarah was very accommodating. She got us all settled and showed us around. My children enjoyed the snack set up they had as well as the breakfast the following morning. The rooms were comfortable. I loved all the originality of this old building.
