We could not have asked for better vets or techs for our dog and cats. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Dr. Blaszak was great at presenting us with all our options for medical care and guiding us without pushing us one way or another. He also understood that animal care costs money and not once did he or the staff make us feel guilty in having to factor that into our decisions (yes, that did happen at another vet). Our baby was 18 years old and had to be put down due to a ruptured tumor we were unaware he had.The vet was so kind and patient.Then 3days later we received a sympathy card that everyone had signed.I am very impressed with them all.
I have had to take my pets here MANY times... and I absolutely love every staff member that I have encountered at RAH. Such a very caring group of men/women. Dr Blaszak and Dr. Sarah T. are amazing! Totally recommend this office, the techs and doctors!!!! Keep up the good work!!!
Roanoke Animal Hospital have been my vet for about 9 years - since I first moved here. In that time I have never, ever, had cause to second-guess or find fault with the services they have provided. I know that medicine and medical care cannot always be an exact science. Sometimes a vet will do all that they can to diagnose and cure our pets but they are not always successful. I normally do not do bad public reviews but I feel like it is my responsibility to share my experience with Roanoke Vet Hospital on Franklin road. Full disclosure - I'm pissed, so read what I wrote knowing it's biased. Last Thursday my 14 y/o Pancakes had to make an emergency visit to the vet. The visit went from 'we probably need to put her down > we don't know what's wrong > she's constipated, we can't give her an enema bc it'll kill her > go home and try your best'. My experiance was amazing! I brought both my dogs (dachshund mix and a pit bull mix) and they were each given individual time and care. Dr. Blaszak really is amazing. My old dog gets skiddish and nipped at him and the vet techs, along with number one and two all over them, and they just rolled with the punches. I felt like my dogs were given the best care that is possible and this will be our furever vet!
