No complaints but one I visited this location 03/03/26 around 2 , clean store subway looked great but noticed a particular smell. I ignored it and a strong odor of butt hit my nose coming from the heavier set worker at road ranger , I don’t judge but come on you help out customers and come to work like that …

I recently visited Road Ranger in Loves Park, Illinois, to grab snacks for my kids and me. Overall, my experience was mixed, but one employee truly stood out. There was the sweetest gentleman working who went above and beyond. He was incredibly respectful, patient with my children, and genuinely helpful throughout our time in the store. I noticed he was actively walking around, making sure the store was clean and up to standard i’m not sure if he’s just a regular employee or a manager. Popped in for gas and snack. One employee sitting on floor behind counter looking at phone. Other huge purple hair employee at till looking at phone set it down long enough to ring up snacks never said a word except "seventeen eighty five" then wordlessly handed change back. Picked phone back up as I counted my change from the fifty. Gross.
