This place hasn't always had the best reputation after buying out string fellow then loosing it, to say gone down hill would be an understatement. What's worse is there is no other hospital in the area. I dont go to the doctor or er unless I absolutely have to. Well I unfortunately got bit by a brown recluse. They sent me to the fast track. Was discharged from post op in uncontrolled pain. When asked if this was standard, they said yes now get dressed, it's time to go. I was hurting so badly, I couldn't think straight to ask to speak to the surgeon or a patient advocate. Finally was able to speak to the surgeon today and was told the exact opposite of what staff told me and my husband yesterday. I was sent to RMC outpatient for a procedure, it was the worst experience of my life.the staff on the second floor was the rudest and most un polite unprofessional people I never want to be treated by again. I had to find a new Doctor that didn't use your facility "if you want to call it that " And the check in was done by a bunch of unqualified and uneducated it took over a hour to check in" No More" your hospital should be closed for inhumane treatment
I wish that I could get this place a ZERO. This "hospital", I use this term loosely, is more of a morgue, than a Healthcare center. It is unsanitary, has inattentive staff, and no sense of urgency. My 14 year old daughter was brought here by ambulance, having an SVT episode. The nurse asked me if she wanted me to have labs done there, or to have my daughter transferred by ambulance, I chose the later. Was feeling sick and and had stomach issues, new it I was a viral stomach bug spreading around, I didn't want any crazy medicine or procedure. Just wanted to be diagnosed by a licensed nurse/doctor, now here a I am 5hrs later. I've chosen to walk out and go home. Worst hospital in Calhoun county
