I was polite and tried to explain my situation. The customer service representative hung up on me. I called back it was a instant pick up and hang up. Very rude person on the phone. If you have to call good luck trying to get information.
I have used RLI for Umbrella Insurance for 4 years. There are so many exclusions, if, buts, excepts listed that, frankly, I have no clue what is covered. And, yes, one reviewer said that you have to pay the maximum on auto insurance before they cover anything. I am going to find a better insurer. My agent recommended RLI, but I think it was not a great suggestion.
I have been in the insurance business for over 25 years and this is the worst insurance company I have seen in 25 years. If you read the umbrella policy they required other insurances pay the bulk of any claim. My quote from them was high and the coverage limits were low. I would do your homework and read the fine print before you give them your hard earned money. Very knowledgable and efficient!! Excellent customer service all the way around. Easy to reach - no automated calling hassle. Highly recommend!
