If you’re looking for a doctor who will listen to your concerns and help you make the best decision for your life, then go see Dr. Rhoten. I had cervical disc replacement surgery at C 5/6 on 10/22/2020. My disc was almost completely gone and pressing in on my spinal cord. He preformed my frontal craniotomy to remove a malignant tumor... I had a stroke and seizure during surgery and he failed to notify my loved ones. After the surgery he disappeared, and as i started to decline and he was paged he was no longer at the hospital. I was suffering and dying at the cost of his malpractice. I was life flighted to another hospital because there was nothing that hospital could do. I do not recommend him. Not even to your worst enemy.

I've had to have two microdiscectomy surgeries in different parts of my back (lower and now cervical/neck) over the past 10 years and both have been HUGE successes! After my first surgery in 2008 I was able to compete and finish two IRONMAN competitions a few years later after much training. This is from Sidney Harris. I suffer from spinal stenosis. In 1997 dr. Rhoten operated on my back and performed a spinal fusion. That part of my back has been holding up well. No pain. In about 2012 another part of my back was acting up and he said he could perform a lanectomy which I agreed to. After surgery he said he just removed the arthritis and did not remove any disks. I have done very well. Dr Rhoten is the best out there.
