NEVER AGAIN The minimum stars allowed on this review is one. I believe that is too many for this company. I have reluctantly used them in the the past, only to have the same problems as the other 1 star raters had. This time takes the cake !! I called in advanced, and asked for a price to remove and install a doble door refrigerator. I told the long time employee who gave me the answers I requested, that I was considering buying a $ 10,000.00 refrigerator from Sears warehouse and needed a price to remove the old, and install... read more
Horrible Technician I had a technician come out and take a look at my washer. In ten minutes they made a diagnosis, and in 2 weeks came by and replaced a part. The tech claimed he ran a load of laundry as a test. This was incorrect as the laundry still had a sour smell. I then started a load of laundry and the washer is acting the same as it was 2 weeks ago. Therefore we had to wait 2 weeks to pay over two hundred dollars for a lie and incorrect diagnosis. So far they're not answering their phones either.
First Impressions Never even scheduled an appointment. The person who answered the phone was rude and decidedly not customer friendly. I can only imagine how much business has been lost by this person. When I asked for the email address, I was told that they don't have an email. I went to the internet and guess what I found - an email address! I wonder if the owner ever looks at the reviews that his business has received?
Go Somewhere Else I had been having constant problems w/my new dishwasher. Veitch is the manufacturer's service rep. They were at my home 4 times but never submitted the repairs to the manufacturer therefore, the manufacturer would not replace my dishwasher. When I asked why they never submitted the forms, the owner said, "I didn't get around to it". I did give a 2 star because the service tech seemed capable but when you have a lemon, no one can fix it. You need a new one.
Poor Servcie - Rude Phome personal I wish I had read the other reviews first before calling Veitch Appliances. I explained my appliance problem over the phone - told them I thought it was the motor, gave make and model number and asked them to bring parts when the (eventually) arrived 9 days later. Technitian came looked at dishwasher for 5 min - ran cycle for 1 min and said, yes, it is the motor. No spare parts - did not even replace broken filter. Great business I have been using these guys for years and they are great! They come when they say and do great work. If every business worked this well we could all save a lot of headaches!
OVERCHARGED Came to our house for 10 minutes to tell us our washer was completely broken and charged us $90.00 for that information. I think that is ridiculous to charge us almost $100.00 for ten minutes of their time!
