We've stayed hear quite a few times. The people who own it are wonderful and love the view of the beach and bridge.
It is a nice place but very old. Mattresses and decor need updating especially for what they charge per night. Owners are very friendly and the view is awesome!! I would stay again.
Great hospitality! It'd be nice for travelers if they had refrigerators in the rooms. Some of the fixtures should be updated, we thought it was weird the faucet was so short/close to the sink you had to really twist your arms to get your hands underneath to wash 'em. And the pool is open pretty much during the hours you want to be out in town or out touring the area, so opening it earlier and until later would be nice. From ownership to the employees everyone is very genuine and welcoming, and knowledgeable of the area.
Love this place! The view cannot be beat and the owners are fantastic!
I enjoyed the upstairs end room-perfect view of the mackinaw bridge'-with a private balconey'-room was clean -however not updated-no fridge'- no breakfast''alot of money especially if you're not going to stay in the room most of the time! But I would go back for 1 or 2 nights anyway if I could get the same room just for the view!! Owners were pleasant!
It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The view was awesome. The location was fantastic. The rooms were very neat and clean. They made you feel like family. Anytime I'm in Mackinaw City, the Rivera is where I will be staying.
Absolutely the most excellent view of the Mighty Mac!!!!! Fabulous place clean very friendly host!!!! We will return!!!!
