During the past few months of therapy with Dr. Irene Gan, I felt deeply supported and helped by her. She is a doctor who truly puts herself in her patients’ shoes. The people are really nice but it’s $175 for missing an appointment. Need a payment plan ? Sure, just pay this $87 first. I’ve been with Rivia for at least 6 months and have been trying to start ADHD meds the entire time. So it’s frustrating that I’m being charged almost $200 for something that honestly likely wouldn’t have happened if my concerns had been taken seriously from the beginning or even sometime this year. I have no clue how I’ll get my other meds moving forward but it will not be from here.

Predatory billing that was not disclosed to me at all and basically taking advantage of what they can to charge me and my insurance company $600 per 45 min virtual talk therapy session. First session I thought I was going to pay around the same amount out-of-pocket (~$45 per virtual session) and also because of their email but little did I know that they were egregiously charging me and my insurance company but my insurance paid majority of it the first time so I was unaware.
