not as great as it used to be Nick's used to be SO beautiful... as has been mentioned by the others here, they had gorgeous tapestries, paintings, and statues all over the restaurant. I will say the view is still absolutely gorgeous, and the location is nice. There's no overcrowding, and the setting is great for an after dinner walk. Well, it's not Nicks! If you ever had the distinct pleasure of dining at the original Nick's - you're going to be disappointed. There are no statues, no tapestries, and no cherub paintings. No odd fountain and, sadly, no Mrs. Nick. They did move the mosaic from the entry hallway - but that's about it.
Fine Dining didn't fit the bill I was excited to find what I thought would be the replacement to the wonderfull Nicks seafood pavilion that one graced the banks of the York river. The beautiful new Riverwalk Landing iis a beautiful place and home for several higher end shops and tthis restaurant. The restaurant offers two choices, the Rivah Cafe, for a smaller price tag, and the Riverwalk Dining Room, for fine dining which we chose.
