I highly would NOT recommend using this animal hospital, we had a horse colicing and Dr. Sarah Millers words was “I am not coming out in the middle of the night for a horse that’s colicing.” So my point is why are you a vet? Why are you on call to take EMERGENCY VET CALLS!? It’s about time we need some new LARGE ANIMAL VETS THAT WOULD LOVE TO TAKE EMERGENCY FARM CALLS! I have been bringing my babies to Dr Miller for years. I have always had an excellent experience. I would recommend them to anyone.
My sweet Cooper was hit by a car Tuesday night and I took him to the vet hospital in Boone. After a night long stay they referred me to a surgeon in Winston to repair a broken leg. Before taking him down there to put him through that, I called Riverview to see if they could see me today and they got me in within the hour. Dr. Miller and Dr. Sarah checked my sweet boy out and recommend not putting him through a surgery that he most likely wouldn’t need. I would not recommend this office. There are plenty of others in the area who offer a much more pleasant experience.
My dog got sick off something they recommend for calming her during a flight to Illinois. WalMart would have refunded me, they didn't even offer a credit to my account.
