Neat little place A little too pricey for regular eating out, but great atmosphere. Love that its a two story place, all smoking upstairs in the bar which is nice. Baked ziti was good, but the salads are lacking.
Save your time and money I am a marine and about 5 other marines and I took our dates to The Riverside Steak and Seafood.Some of us had steaks that were tasted rubbery and bland,some of us had some crab cakes,clams which was full of shells just like the other reviews stated,the service was very poor, the salad was though the only thing that was good there.All of us were extreml;y disappointed and after that night, most of us didn't get another date! Excellent everything! Though we live only a few blocks away, we save the RIverside for special occasions since it is rather expensive. However, you cannot beat the atmosophere of the renovated home in downtown Swansboro, the staff is friendly and accomodating and the food is out-of-this-world. Their crab dip appetizer is a must-have, the sweet potato muffins are superb and any entree you choose will be unusual and delicious!
