We’ve been living here for almost a year now, and everything’s great. All the doormen are very friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests are handled pretty quickly, most of the time on the same day. The gym is small but has everything you need, lots of cardio equipment, though I do wish there were some barbells. We really love the rooftop with its amazing view and pickleball courts. My roommate abandoned the lease and left the country on June 1st, 2025. From June 1st to October 4th, I have solely paid the rent for both myself and my roommate in order to keep the lease valid. This was a clear case of lease abandonment by my roommate, which constitutes a breach of contract. The most inconsiderate apartment I ever had in my living experience. Please try to avoid.
We have lived in other buildings in the Newport Community. Had great experiences here. However, the Riverside has water leaking issue and there has been unresolved visible water damage on my closet. They charge you for ridiculous “damage” found upon move-out and surprise you with $$$ bills. The images attached could show we have been charged by natural water stain in the kitchen sink; damage to the bathtub, some pre-existing issue even before we move in due to the age of the bathtub.
