I booked this place assuming we’d have river views. It’s worth noting that not all rooms face the river. We were on the “other side” of the building and very disappointed about it. Views of a busy road and all the noise of being close to the highway wasn’t advertised on the website. The room was not well cleaned either. Base of the toilet and baseboards were caked with grime and yellows drips down the wall/door. Staff: 10 stars, warm, personable, accommodating and helpful Room: clean, updated. Bonus: door ajar (subtle) alarm that as a Mamma of toddlers is incredible peace of mind! Amenities: pool and hot tub were good, pool was a great temperature. Room access is on the outside of the building so bring a hooded towel or housecoat if you plan to visit during winter months (or change after swim). We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the rooms were very clean, cozy, and nicely updated. The hotel itself felt warm, welcoming, and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were exactly what we needed after a long drive. Breakfast was also delicious. We loved everything from start to finish. Highly recommend this place the hotel leaves a great impression.

Fantastic. Old motel with good bones. Renovated rooms. Pool and hot tub are great but a bit dated. Continental breakfast includes eggs and sausage, juices, coffee, bagels, etc. Overall great value. Nice view of the river.
