Went for some warranty work under the "Mechanics Platinum Plus" Plan - first breaks, hoses, battery, belts and hoses, etc. etc - towing, road side assistance, lock out service - well, this cold snap took out my battery to my Sentra. Maggie, my service advisor squared me away. As most people know, service after the sale is sometimes lacking. Maggie is great, as is CJ who sold me my last two vehicles there. Great people. And, that is a $350 battery folks. that plan is totally worth it.
They are horrendous. from their General manager, Cody to my service advisor, so called only, Adrian, to the person who sold me my useless car, Gilbert, every single last one of them. I am no longer welcome there because my car is chronically undrivable. the key fob goes on the blank every week or so. they say there's nothing wrong but there sure is. why would I call them otherwise? why would I call a tow truck otherwise? I helped my niece purchase a vehicle yesterday, but due to a paperwork issue, she was asked to return today—alone—simply to sign the paperwork that should have been completed the day before. The deal was already agreed upon: same price, same terms, nothing was supposed to change. When she returned, the finance manager, Jamaal, told her she was required to purchase a warranty and presented only two options, insisting she choose one. Run away. If you’re foolish enough to do business here, avoid Josh or Chris unless you enjoy being lied to your face. I was given false information about the loan terms, misled about another available vehicle at a different dealership, and flat-out lied to about how long a window replacement would take. Once you sign, don’t expect responses—communication basically disappears. Save yourself the headache and take your business somewhere honest.
Recently bought a used vehicle from this dealership, 2 days after buying it had an oil leak, the first one, they did fix it or said they did, got it home had another oil leak, that I was told later an employee caused the issue, couple days after the vehicle completely shut down, bad thermal caused the system to malfunction. Got vehicle back took it to a mechanic to be checked found another oil leak at front timing cover. Would give zero Stars if I could. Bought a new versa from them back in 2023. The motor was clogged tried to put the blame on me there was eight whole miles on it told me I was put in bad gas in it. I buy my gas at the pump like everybody else, that wasn't the problem. I had to call Nissan which is located in Tennessee to get some action. then they sold me an extended warranty which in microprint says it's not valid in New York state. why would I buy this? LIES BEWARE IT WILL FINANCIALLY DAMAGE YOU
GO ELSEWHERE! Tynanns Nissan in Aurora did not play these gaslight games with me. Another dealer adding to the bad name of car dealers. I took my car in for two potentinal warranty issues and ended up getting charged over $300 for them to hold my car hostige AND DO NOTHING! They want to charge me 550 for rear break work too! (Quoted 400 elsewhere.) Thinking they have me on the end for the diagonstic they hit the service at a premium. A criminal game being facilitated by foolish pawns.
