Exterior is from the 70s, interior is from the 80s. The front desk staff was indifferent, and the rooms were small and the bathrooms ridiculous. And oh yeah, don't book the Bayview rooms on the third floor if there's an affair planned for the ballroom above the them. We heard every song and the ceiling sounded as though it was going to collapse on us at any minute. Ugh.
Dining room, Food tastes terrible, small portions, high prices. Hotel, rooms are dirty and old. They treat their staff with no respect but that's the same way they treat their customers. 2 Cocktails cost more then 1 meal. I'm a local and I would not recommend the Riveredge to anyone!!!!
stayed overnight for the Valentine's Day pkg....room was great, food and service was horrible. Ran out of prime rib, steak and cheesecake. Spent $150 on 2 bottles of wine because the food that we did get was inedible. Shrimp scampi and brazed pork was just disgusting. Sorry we stayed there quite a few times and it was great, but on a big day like that you run out of food??? Poor management and we weren't compensated for anything.
