PSA: Do not go to the Riverchase Galleria Mall to get a picture with Santa. The absolute worst experience I have ever had in my life! I will never, ever step foot in that establishment again!
Worst Santa experience I've ever had. Whole family got together to go to the galleria to watch grandson see Santa. Only his 2nd time. Was told I couldn't use my own camera to take pics. Santa and helpers was the rudest group of people I've ever seen. Even stood between me and santa to make sure I didn't take pics. Stopped the line until I put camera up. Even monitored from upstairs. We live in Auburn. My 16 year old daughter and I drove up yesterday to finish up our Christmas shopping. We had a great time, and she even rode on the carousel, even though she thinks that she's too old fr everything else. We found everything we needed to finish up the Christmas gifts for our family.
My son who is 4 & autistic loved the Lego store. He didn't want to leave. The arcades and build a bear are too much for him, sensory overload..I'll drive the 2 hours rt from Anniston just for that experience for our little guy.
I have always loved the Galleria but the constant harassment by the pushy salespeople in kiosks, I am referring to the one that sells straightening irons in front of BELK, the kiosk that sells the stinky lotions where the salesperson try's to pull you in for a demo and tries to give you a sample along with the Adore store, they all drive me crazy! I really wish the Galleria would get rid of them all!
