Patient, playful, and perfectly personable! Dr. Self turned what could have been a chaotic visit with my hyperactive toddler into a genuinely happy experience. She is a literal toddler whisperer and a master of patience. She conquered my son's energy with her sweet singing during the exam; I was in total disbelief of how well he was complying with her brushing his teeth. Her dazzling dental care and super personable vibe made the whole appointment fun. We can't recommend her and her team enough!
As a nervous first time mama, I was not expecting such an amazing experience at the dentist for my baby. Now he’s a toddler & every time we go in Dr. Self & her team are always so positive, informative, & caring about your kiddo! We love it at River Smiles!
Everything about this place is perfect. My toddler loved it and such a calm experience which is exactly what we needed! 10/10 will never seek another dentist again! We live an hour away and it’s 100% worth the drive. The facility is clean and beautiful and the staff were so nice. Dr. Self even sang to my toddler to help keep them calm! Truly an amazing experience.
My 2.5yo son loves Dr Self! We’ve been going to her since he was 8months old. She makes going to the dentist fun. During the cleaning she sings little songs that help keep him calm. And the environment is very kid friendly either way books and toys for them to enjoy. All the other ladies are great too and I look forward to bringing all my kids there in the future. 1000% recommend Dr Self
