love this place the best vet in town Dr.Kelly Chapman is the best he has done knee surgery on my baby 2 times now 1 3yr ago and 1 3 weeks ago would not go anywhere else he's the best try him you will love him.
My pup was not feeling well and they got me in immediately even though I’m not a regular customer. Everyone there was so nice and my Abby got first rate care for a reasonable price. We will definitely be back!!!
They are the best. I’m from New Orleans, we have a lot of transplants moving to New Orleans. I’m often asked which vet I use. I’ve only had 2 in my life, Dr Hock who has long retired and Dr Chapman & now Dr Dunn. You don’t have to ask me, you can ask Bourre. But she always wins patient of the month, so you know what she’ll say. 🐾

The staff members and doctors are great there. The service is excellent. Dr. Chapman and Dr. Dunn takes their time with you. I never feel like I'm being rushed through my pets exam. I highly recommend bring your pets here.
I have been going to river road vet for the past 27 years. Doc has seen my children grow and my pets get sick and healed. He is the absolute most thorough and concerned vet I know. The first time, I met him he took my dog to the levee to figure out what was hurting my puppy. He observed him in a natural environment and immediately realized it was probably his neck. Sure enough it was and my puppy was on the road to recovery. Thanks Doc for all the concern and attention you give to my 4 legged babies!!!!
We brought our Potbelly pig in to get spayed and they were great with her. They did an excellent job in caring for her. The staff is excellent!
