SO cool! We learned so much about the history and ecology of the river and saw some incredible animals. Lots of fun, highly recommend!
Fantastic kayak tour of Sandy Island. Knowledgeable, friendly and funny guide.
Today’s guided kayak tour to Sandy Island was our second— and, I hope, not our last— with Hastings. Loved seeing and learning about the rivers, rice plantations, and history of the area from an authority with a confident and easy-going manner. I plan to return to the Gullah community of Sandy Island soon. Would recommend River Reader kayak tours without reservation.
