Oh wow! This was the most fun I have had in a while! Beautiful kayak trip thru the salt marsh with the amazing and knowledgeable Professor Hastings! I am so pleased that we did this as a family and that at 68, I could keep up! You have to do this to really appreciate the beauty and wonder of the inlet. Great price! Great guide and a great time! I will do this again in the fall!
We had an awesome experience with River Reader Kayaking! Our group of five adults booked a guided kayak tour with Hastings, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Hastings was incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife, history, and ecosystem, but what really stood out was how personable and engaging he was. The pace was relaxed, the scenery was beautiful, and we learned so much without ever feeling like we were on a lecture.
The best kayaking experience I have ever had. The trip was not only enjoyable, it was enlightening. Hastings has a vast knowledge of all things ranging in history, biology and even geology while keeping you entertained and captivated. It was an intimate cruise for our group of 5 with laughs from beginning to end. I can’t wait for the next time we can come back and explore another low country path less traveled.
SO cool! We learned so much about the history and ecology of the river and saw some incredible animals. Lots of fun, highly recommend!
