We took our shih tzu to Dr. McCorkindale for 7 years. About 3 years in, our dog developed yeast dermatitis. The doctor recommended a chicken and rice diet, apparently not realizing that rice is one of the worst things you can give to a dog with a fungal infection. Little did we know that we were slowly poisoning our dog. Shih tzus have a life expectancy of 12 to 14 years, ours died at a mere 7 years old. I blame him. Do not recommend.
Absolutely spectacular service! Dr. McCorkindale and an assistant came to our home during a pandemic and assisted us in saying goodbye to a member of our family in the comfort of our home. They were professional, courteous, gracious, understanding, gentle and thoughtful in every aspect. I know God had a great grace in this experience but River Oaks answered the call to assist us.
