This aptly named eatery is set at the spot on the Savannah River where the first steam ship to cross the Atlantic Ocean, the SS Savannah, first disembarked in 1819. One of the Best Steaks I've ever had with shrimp and a blue cheese reduction on top
My husband and I came to eat for our anniversary and we have never been more disappointed. My steak was over cooked, the shrimp had no flavor. My husbands fish was full of bones...working in a restaurant I am well aware of how seafood and steak should be prepared. As well as how the service should be, our server did not seem like he was concerned of our experience. I would expect a $100 bill would be more enjoyable. We will not return.
Service was terrible. Beer was hot, no beer glasses. Was never asked about refills.
Great seafood restaurant in Savannah. Loved everything I had.
The food was great. The service too. Would definitely go back next time we are in the area.
