RecommendedThe River House was recommended to me by an acquaintance. Our waitress was Cecilia she was very pleasant and kind. I had ordered the muscles, sadly to say I did not like them at all. They were too gooey to me. I don't usually ever complain, but I really had to. Cecilia made it right by getting me something else. I ended up with the Salmon. I must say that it was yummy. Chowdah is awesome!!!!!!! Place was packed..Nice view from the outside deck
BEST CHOWDER EVER! The lobster roll was amazing, crab cakes were awesome! Homemade chips were excellent. Oh and don’t forget the View, sit on the deck!!
the food was outstanding! I highly recommend both the artichoke and lobster dip and the seafood chowder. Fantastic!
Food was incredible! I had the seafood chowder and the lobster Mac, both were the best I ever had! Great atmosphere and service too!
My family and I all tried the small ships plate and the tall ships plate, and everyone loved it. The lobster rolls were great, but our family favorite was the seafood chowder! It is a must try!!!
Food is amazing, service was good... but could be a little better.
I had lobster, they had to hammer the claws so I could get inside the shell. The claws were delicious but the tail was rubbery. All the other food was wonderful, chowder, ceasar salad, rice and coleslaw. Love the view!
