We had booked the small venue for our wedding. The venue was great, perfect size for our guests, and the lodge we rented was nice and clean. However, the service was terrible. First off, the owner, Stacy, is NOT helpful at all and rude. She had mentioned when we booked the venue (well over a year in advance) that the venue came with a speaker, so we would not have to use a dj and save some money. What an awful disappointment: the one-bedroom lodge reeked of dogs, had no amenities you would expect - like a coffee service (creamer, sugar, etc.); we even had to supply our our Kleenex! I had to ask for kitchen towels, there was no dish drying rack, not even a salt / pepper shaker. The owner said she would refund my money due to the odor, but my sweet friends I got the place for (they came from Colorado Springs for my dad's funeral) were too tired to move to another location.
