I came across river dog bakery after google searching dog cakes online. I ordered a dog cake for my pup’s first birthday and it exceeded all expectations!! Not only was it beautiful to look at but it smelled heavenly of peanut butter and my dog loved it! (I may have tried a small bite out of curiosity and let me tell you it wasn’t bad! Tasted like a peanut butter sandwich). I will be a repeat customer for sure!

I'm from out of town and I was visiting my brother and I saw the shop and had to stop! I have a boxer and great dane mix, and she absolutely loved the treats and toy I got her from the shop! She can be rather picky, but these treats are a hit! I wished I lived closer so I can keep these treats all the time for her!! Such a warm feeling when you walk in, greeted with friendly faces and a cute golden retriever, Roux. Thank you!
Love this place! The owners, Pam and Brian Trainor, are so genuine, knowledgeable, and caring. My Red Heeler pup Dingo loved his birthday brownie and new collar and leash. They have a variety of homemade treats that are healthy and Dingo-approved.
They have made our family dog’s cake for the last 3 years! Most recent cake was tonight for Fishmas. I cut off a piece for him to have tonight, and he decided that wasn’t enough. So he went to the kitchen and took the rest off the counter. 🤦🏻♀️ had the whole thing swallowed after half a chew! I guess he really enjoys them! Haha! Thank you for being a part of our journey! ♥️
Probably the kindest and most wholesome business in Knoxville. They have a wonderful selection of products for dogs and cats, their treats are adorable, and their birthday cakes are perfect. Our dog devoured hers! Everyone there is very friendly and lovely to talk to. I will definitely be back. I just can't say enough good things about this place!
I bought a cake for my golden doodle’s first birthday party. Needless to say- the pups at the party loved it!! 🎉 Definitely will he purchasing adorable and delicious (per ellie) cookies & cakes from River throughout the seasons. Also, she got a super cute flamingo collar & leash from there (in the pic of her with farmers outfit on)... not to mention an adorable & durable squeaky tiger! 🎁
