Great service, friendly staff, good haircut – I had a good experience with my stylist Melanie. She made an effort to understand my specifications, and cut my hair almost exactly like I asked. I really like this place.

You can be confident and HAPPY – Don't worry about getting your hair cut or colored by Venis at Ritual Hair Design because you don't have to be. You can be confident that it will come out amazing because she knows what she's doing. Even if you're not sure what you want, you can sort of describe it to her and she just knows what you're talking about and does it and it looks beautiful. And she's very confident when she's doing your hair so you don't get that uneasy feeling in your stomach halfway through the hair cut or color.... read more

The best................ – Want to get a great haircut in a great environment...go see Kim or Shawn. The receptionist is awesome as well but I always forget how to spell her name D________. They do great quality of work, make you feel great, and offer great products.

great highlights, cut and customer service – I had an amazing experience at Ritual. My hairstylist, Dee, did a wonderful job on my haircut and highlights. She put in a great effort to make sure the colors we choose were right for my skin tone as well as my facial features. She was able to follow my instructions with remarkable precision and produce excellent results. Buyer beware!! – Because of all the glowing reviews, I decided to take a chance and book an appointment at this salon. For a cut and color, I was quoted a fee of $140 over the phone. Although I thought this was a bit spendy, I figured it might be worth it. To my utter dismay, I was actually charged $180. Avoid if you have a busy schedule – I was very disappointed in my attempted visit to Ritual Hair Design. I received a gift certificate to the salon and was very excited to get my haircut and thought it had to be worth the week wait to get in and having to leave work early to get the first available spot. I arrived ten minutes early to relax and enjoy reading before my appointment. The receptionist was nice enough. My appointment was at 1:30 and finally at 1:47 my stylist greeted me. Best Salon ever! – The atmoshpere is relaxing and welcoming. Shawn, the owner of Ritual has always made sure that the salon was involved in mindful events that benefit the community. The people that work there are wonderful and the service is fantastic not to mention that you'll love your haircut and color!! I highly recommend Ritual Hair Design. I drive all the way from downtown Portland to go!

Amazing Highlights!!! – Venis was my colorist, and she did an amazing job! She new exactly what I wanted when I descibed it to her. My hair turned out perfect and very natural looking! I was so impressed with the price, and quality of my visit! I will be visiting this salon again very soon!
