The food was pretty good. We had a party of 8 and were seated pretty quickly. I would have given 4 or 5 stars if not for the birds. Seriously, I'm not sure how the health department hasn't closed them down! Birds just wander through the restaurant. While we were waiting for our food, four birds flew up on a table that had plates people have left and started eating the food left in the plates. Eating at Rita's was a truly fun experience! The staff was fabulous, and the food was delicious! Spectacular river walk experience!
Went here for lunch with my son, he got the flaunts plate and I got the Chile Relleno, his plate looked skimpy and I asked about my plate before I ordered it as I am leary of new foods, she brought it out and it looked like a plate of vomit! She said the Chile Relleno would be covered in a queso sauce w a little spinich...it had so much spinach it literally looked like vomit on a plate. Never again! The food was over priced for what we were served!
If I can give give the staff at Rita’s on the river more than 5 Stars I would!!! My husband and I are currently on our honeymoon we decided to try this restaurant out cause it was close to the hotel we were staying at!! The food was outstanding, the Big Red margarita was outstanding and our server was also outstanding!!! We will be definitely coming back!!!
Fist time here. Service and margaritas were good. Rice was not fully cooked. The borracho beans they served were few in quantity that I could count them, and it was the same on my friend's plate as well. Revisit? I think not...
This place has a great atmosphere and the great thing was, they were super pet friendly, even with a wonderful dog food menu to choice for your furry friend. We were looking for a pet friendly place to dine anyways, but this place blew it out of the water. Our Doobie was pleased. So we thank you for your enjoyable night on the riverwalk.
Great food, prices are high, but its a tourist area
Great restaurant food was delicious, service was very attentive dinks we're on point. Would highly recommend it to all friends and family when visiting San Antonio.
Great margaritas but the food order was all mixed up, but was a very fun time and very busy time. All in all pretty yummy.
