Rita's loses appeal after Pete leaves... Rita's Mexican restaurant , up to about a year ago, had the best rolled tacos with all the fixings, in all of east county. The fellow who was always there to make sure the orders were perfect was Pete. Everyone knew Pete. Unfortunately, Pete has moved on and Rita's is just not the same. Order mistakes are now numerous and I seldom go there anymore. Prices have gone way up to boot. Too bad, it really was the place to go at 1 time. PROS: rolled tacos CONS: prices, service

Healthiest Mexican fast food around This can be fast food or sit down dinner. Either way their food is excellent. The service is quick and the food is prepared fresh while you wait. Low calorie and low fat they have special heart friendly dishes. I love the shredded chicken burritos. Highly recommend.

Been going here since it was near Blockbuster Video on Main St. 30 years ago. Love their food snd the staff is really great. i recommended Rita's for sure.
I have been eating there every night this last week do to work as I am staying in a hotel for work nearby. The mixed of food that I purchased has been Outstanding. The flavor, the freshness the overall flavor has been spot on. The size of the burritos a pound maybe 1.5 pounds will fill you up. The Steak and Egg Burrito is the BOMB if your hungry you wont be after eating this bad boy!!!!
