Rita’s is the most amazing place to go to get your frozen treats. They have the best frozen custard and Italian Ice. What makes it even better is the staff. From the originals of Anita and Julia to the new comers of Tanner and Olivia the service is second to none. As a regular, they remember the nuances of my off the menu orders and even make some scrumptious suggestions. I can’t recommend this place enough and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
Not only is this the best Italian ice & gelato place in the Twin Cities, or dare I say, the US, but it’s also a fabulous family-run small business. The spring opening is a highly anticipated event for our family. I know it is for the community as well because each year, the lines get longer. October closing for winter is always sad, but it just builds up the hype for next season! We’re so thankful to have this Rita’s location in our neighborhood. The owners are incredible. I just had a great custard cookie sandwich served by the best employee Tanner. I asked for his opinion and he gave me a honest opinion with reasoning behind it. 10/10 will come again.
Tanner is the MVE - most valuable employee. He helped me so much figuring out what I want. He offered me samples with a smile and answered all of my questions. 10/10 give this man a raise
