It can be such a challenge finding a trustworthy competent mechanic, but since our first visit to Rising Sun we've never gone anywhere else. They are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and flexible. One Saturday afternoon we needed urgent work, and we called Rising Sun who had us fixed up by that same evening. An overall great mechanic, I recommend them to all my friends.
If you are looking for an honest mechanic that does great work, go no further! I have been taking my cars there for over 10 years and have only good things to say about the work they do there and the kind service!
Khai's Toyota work was so good that we brought our Mercedes-Benz & Chrysler/Eagle to them too and have never been disappointed. For over a decade, his shop has done excellent (and creative) work at very reasonable prices on all our vehicles.
This was a good company 10 years ago. In the past two years they have made mistake after mistake on my car. From rookie mistakes like not refilling fluids on oil changes and not replacing plastic tabs that hold the engine cover down, to major mistakes like pulling my engine and not sealing an o-ring, leaning on my radiator and puncturing the top hose, over-inflating my tires, installing the wrong brake pads, and not cleaning up the rotors on a brake change. Rising sun motors, I had my vehicle towed to this facility for a free estimate when my transmission failed in a 87 Honda accord. After telling me the fix would be more than the car was worth, I asked for time to either acquire the funds or decide to not follow through with the work. One week later after "supposed" calls on the weekend to my work number, Kai authorized to have my vehicle towed and impounded. This will not do.
