I’ve had a very disappointing experience with my therapist here. He has repeatedly canceled and rescheduled appointment often at the last minute which has made it extremely difficult to maintain any consistency in treatment. Reliable communication is critical in a therapeutic relationship, but unfortunately, this has been lacking here. Messages are frequently left unanswered or responded to too late to be helpful.

I started at Rising Potential in August 2023. Luis' assessments and methods for identifying as well as addressing core issues are incredibly effective. We were able to create a treatment plan that helped me face my trauma in a safe and trusting environment. This is not the common talk therapy -- be prepared to do the work. It is worth it.

I’ve been attending therapy here for over a year now. I began by bringing my daughter to see someone due to her mental health concerns and I then began to engage in group therapy myself. I’ve been through a lot in my life. Dr. Ramirez and his staff members have assisted me and my family in healing. I highly recommend them for treatment. They are kind and so caring when it comes to helping me and my family.

Why is it so difficult to be seen? I have had my appt canceled 3x already. Then I rescheduled again last week, got the email to confirm and out of no where.. it is canceled .. again. All I wanted since the end of AUGUST was to start therapy and talk to someone because I am struggling and all ive had is just been toyed with and pushed aside. I will be pursuing therapy elsewhere now. Thank you for wasting my time.

Working with this practice has been a wonderful experience. Each conversation with Luis is uplifting and encouraging and Rising Potential Counseling is a very well run and organized practice. Highly recommend!
