Was assigned to Dr. Gaiha due to the departure of my previous pain specialist. It’s always disconcerting when this happens. My expectations were not high. My advice: embrace change. Dr. Gaiha exceeded my expectations. He LISTENS. We went over my chart. He explained to me in detail my condition when I asked questions about it and the proposed approach in addressing it. Charged an exorbitant amount for a small procedure that in no way required a surgical procedure. Avoid unless you have zero deductible.
The staff are no help, my first visit I waited 1hr for the Dr because they forgot to inform him that I was waiting in the exam room, Dr then comes into the exam room and indeed tells me sorry my staff didn’t tell me you were here I started a procedure but I’ll see you quickly, then I call again to get my MRI results and they schedule me for a phone visit and tells me the Dr will call me at 12:15pm, it is now 12:54 I call the office and the Dr again is doing a procedure and once again forgets about my appointment. Dr. Gaiha, (I call him Dr. G), is the most caring and thoughtful MD I have ever had on my medical team. My first encounter with Dr. G was great, and he has been consistent ever since. Dr. G truly cares about his patients. He takes the time needed to thoroughly understand, communicates honestly and provides a sense of relief, knowing that someone actually wants to help!
