DO NOT GO HERE This place is dangerous. You will struggle to get the rest you need because the machine next to your bed makes a loud beeping sound every 60 seconds or so. The nurses have no idea how to turn it off. They gave me so many downer drugs that they almost KILLED ME. They were worried about my heart stopping after giving me a cocktail of downers and none of them know when to stop. They gave me FOOD POISONING. RISE Recovery's medical care, evaluation, tests, seemed good. RR intake staff Keenan gave an excellent initial evaluation. However, RR communication, updates were inadequate and unprofessional, incl. false assurances, and violating best care standards. I sent a family member to RISE Recovery at Family Hospital Bandera on May 1, late afternoon. RR staff assured me -- detox was 3-5 days, plus an after-care plan, with updates on care and status. My name may be fake but I'm real. I'm not saying Ms Chambers is wrong but that wasn't my experience. Everyone was very patient and sweet and seemed to genuinely care. They would even go out and get food for me. Maybe they overhauled before I got there but I'd definitely recommend. I went to the Deer Ridge location in Round Rock.

Horrible place. They let my husband suffer who was using their service to come off meds due to medical reasons. Would not feed him or even give him milk, the reason; he had to buy it himself because they did not have anything to give, their little gourmet meals are cheap tv dinners. There’s more to the story but I’m not going into full detail about this place. Make sure you check with your insurance company as well.
