Friendly staff. Large portions. The red velvet waffles were awesome.
We discovered this hidden gem during Parents.Weekend at SU. It is now our "go-to" place for breakfast/lunch when we are in the area. Food is excellent, portions are good size and the prices are very reasonable. If you like pancakes, they have a big selection of specialty flavors to choose from. The staff is very friendly and food comes out in a timely manner, even when it's VERY busy (most times). I would highly recommend checking out Rise N Shine Diner. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped for the first time today. Food and service was top notch. Try a specialty hot chocolate. You can thank me later. The salted caramel one was so good. We'll definitely be back. Syracuse's best kept secret.

Best breakfast place in Syracuse hands-down I lived here for three years now and finally found a great breakfast spot. The food is on point. The servers are excellent. And I would recommend this place to anybody.
Found this little gem over the weekend. Cozy spot with delish breakfast. Homemade cinnamon raisin toast is worth the visit alone.
