GREAT original glaze, tons of options and friendly staff
I love Rise Durham apple fritters and was so disappointed in the fritters we got from Rise Carrboro today. They were flat (none of those delicious nodules), super greasy and undercooked. Guess it's worth it to drive to Durham for what I consider the best apple fritters in the world.
Very tasty fresh biscuits, and the hash brown potato cake thing was delicious as well. But I was disappointed to come home and discover that my sausage biscuit was missing its sausage :(
I was looking forward to trying out RISE. After reading owner comments re opposition to the IFC Community Kitchen I will not be a customer.

Delicous Sausage & Gravy biscuit, and quick service!
As one of the 1st customers at this new location I would like to say it is clean, friendly, and FAST! I had a maple bacon donut (with real bacon!), a chicken biscuit, and a coffee. All three were fresh and delicious. The biscuit was light and buttery, and the chicken was a great size, had great taste, and was NOT too greasy (like other breakfast chicken biscuits). I can't wait to try all of the different options on their menu! This will be my new breakfast spot before work :)
