On April 2nd, my sister (Sherry Easter) surprised her husband with a birthday celebration with about 30 people. The Riptide crew did an excellent job and the food was absolutely delicious. They accommodated the group in such a timely fashion. All the food came out hot and fast. I can't say enough about the celebration. Thanks to the staff for making his surprise a grand occasion.

Glad I stopped She crab soup strawberry spinach salad with champagne vinaigrette 30 steamed oysters it was a great day, plus i got to see i my girls Debbie and Jen beautiful patio day
We were there last night with a party of 8. The food was amazing. All 8 were fat , happy and satisfied ! Now that's hard to do, satisfying 8 people. Rip Tides rocks! We will be back soon.
Just left Riptides for lunch where we had to wait an hour for sandwiches! Although the waitress was sweet, she didn't do a lot to investigate why it took so long. Finally had to seek out another employee who blamed the slow service on a large party. Apologies were offered but no compensation was offered. Other than the "large party" there were few patrons in the restaurant. Very disappointing- doubt we return.

If you are looking for overcooked greasy bites of seafood then this is the place for you! Wait Staff was fantastic.
Very good seafood. I had the bacon wrapped scallops and they were cooked properly, not mushy or tough, with good flavor beyond the bacon. The lobster bisque was good, a bit salty. With homemade tartar sauce.
Riptides has the best seafood in Chesterfield! If you want fresh food and good service and you haven't been, you should go!
