The service is excellent The seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection.
I really enjoy Riptides. Our server Elmondo was fantastic!!! Definitely request him!! The food we had was very good. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the crab cake I had contains a bit too much filler. But my Grandfather was a waterman so I am picky when it comes to crab cakes. Great local place to enjoy a variety of seafood and other dishes.
Anyone who hasn't eaten at Riptides in Chester Va is missing out!!! This restaurant is the best in theRichmond area! No matter where you live it's worth the drive . The owners Sal and Tillary Buffa has truly made the most family friendly place to go ! The food is and always has been truly delicious every time we've been there. Dinner was delicious. Could have been a little hotter when served. We had a group of 5 and everyone loved their dinners. The coconut cream pie was to die for!
Food was good and the the staff was efficient and friendly. I look forward to my next trip to the area. We got the crab dip and hush puppies for appetizers and the crab dip was good. The hush puppies were plentiful and lasted through the meal as well.

I enjoy going there as much as possible. Lunch and dinner are always a dining delight. Try their desserts they are delicious
Ended my 2016 dinner at my favorite seafood restaurant because the quality of food, professional and friendly customer service. No matter what the wait time is, it's worth the wait. No matter how busy they are the owner always stops by to say hello and how is everything. My husband and I go at least 3-4 times a year and I Highly recommend, please check them out.
