What a gorgeous place to spend a romantic evening! As the name suggests, Rips on the Lake is a lake facing restaurant that has a gorgeous patio. While away your time as you sit here and sip on a glass of wine. The service is excellent and the staff will in no way hurry you out. The seafood here is fresh and cooked just right. The restaurant is known to serve the best oysters and shrimps. Try out the Shrimp Stuffed Baked Potato.

The food and service were excellent! I requested seating outside and it was breezy off the lake but not too strong. The entire experience was just right.
Excellent waiters. I was there for a luncheon with my high school class, 30 of us. Service was great and the waiter knew how to “wrangle” all us women into a well practiced progression of service. lol. I think I’m the only one who may have noticed that. We all had a great time! Thanks.

Great service and delicious fresh seafood.
Our stuffed catfish was AMAZING and the portions are good size. Very relaxing atmosphere on the patio with views of the lake. Waitstaff was very nice. Absolutely zero complaints...and that goes for every time we’ve been here. I’m actually surprised to see those who were unhappy with their visit. We’ve never had a bad experience here.
Location and view were good, service adequate, but food was not impressive and over priced for the quality. Snapper pecan was flavorless and the fried seafood platter was ok at best.
