We are big fans of the place and have been coming there for over 10 yrs-many good convos with Pepe, an owner. But tonight my father in law had a very poor experience with a manager Cesar. They went with another couple and asked for 2 separate tables to be able to social distance (2 x 2 tops). The restaurant had many tables available and no one was waiting but Cesar aggressively declined and tried to physically intimidate my father in law (70 yrs old) by coming within 3 feet of him despite requests for distancing. Rio Grande is the best Mexican Restaurant in the area, and we have been to them all. The new location on New Garden Road is absolutely beautiful. The wait staff is so attentive and the food is so delicious. It is the only Mexican Restaurant we will go to from now on. Never had a bad experience in years.
