Had the pleasure of staying here 2 nights last week. Stayed in Birch Cabin which was roomy, comfortable and beautiful. The bed was beyond comfy. The property is gorgeous. The owners knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Amazing & peaceful! Hoping to return some day.
One week stay in the Ponderosa Cabin - a wonderfully peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life! The beauty of the surroundings matched with tasteful touches in decor illustrates the commitment to excellence on the part of the entire staff. Awesome place. I highly recommend it. Nice, nice cabin. Buffet on Sunday was wonderful and also music. Owners are outstanding.
The owners and manager are extremely friendly and provide a wealth of local knowledge. The cabins are historic but updated and gorgeous. The common outside spaces have hammocks, chairs, corn hole, ladder ball to provide fun activities. This is a top notch local establishment
The time, effort and dedication that’s been put into this gem of a place is very evident. The history is fantastic and we felt fortunate to find it. Added bonus, as if there needs to be any when staying in Spearfish Canyon, is that there is super sketchy cell service and our cabin had no tv or radio. Perfect for wanting to unplug. Wonderful experience, absolutely beautful place! Amazing, colorful scenery all around. Gorgeous view from the Tatanka Suite. Owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. Couldn't have asked for more! Recommend 100%!
