I had a set of aluminum rims that were causing me issues. They would leak either at the bead of where you insert the air valve on the rim. Pain in the butt, as i had to keep filling the tires every couple days. I dropped the rims off at rim doctor for powder coating. When the rims came back, they had some very minor rough spots on the bead .
