I am beyond disappointed in IU health. I have always been 100% sure that Riley children’s hospital was the best, and they’ve definitely changed my view on that completely. Almost 5 months of back and fourths, failed hearing tests, and being lied to. Bloomington ENT sent an urgent referral to Riley for Damian to get a ABR hearing test which consists of being put under anesthesia, as well as surgery. ENT refused to see my son until September unless I travel an hour away to be seen in August for an ear infection which has been ongoing for 12 weeks. Spoke with the practice manager Rachel, and she told me I didn’t understand what was going on and that my son wouldn’t be a candidate to get tubes even though she is not in a role that should be advising such things. Brought my grandsons for their visits. I was at the hospital in time but had to find parking in a lot that was full, wait in line to get through security, wait 5 minutes to be acknowledged by anyone, then redirected to someone else who refused to acknowledge us. We were then treated with complete disrespect and told both had to be rescheduled because one was late but they refused to see the other boy.
