The staff were so friendly, very accommodating, they even set up a table for us to eat outside. Appeared to be a family business, you could tell by the pride in which everyone took from seating us to cooking, and the sea bass was amazing had a great flavor. We drove about 2 hours to get there, I wish they were in our hometown. If you're anywhere near Kankakee don't cheat yourself, stop in and have a great experience at Rigo's :)
Best sea bass in the county! Esther has it with Champaign sauce, I have it with honey mustard sauce. Their raspberry vinigarette is wonderful.

I am so incredibly happy to hear that Rigo is still in Bourbonnais! I cried when the Bistro closed. His cooking and lovely atmosphere were the only available "nice" restaurant in the area. After eating there once, we knew he was a true gourmet chef and had friends and family to his restaurant numerous times. I will be delighted to try his new location! I can't wait!!! I was a huge fan of his Crabcakes in champagne sauce and the mushroom streudel in the port wine reduction!
Great food, gracious owner, I will be returning. Also, the best waiter on the planet, Alfredo works here!!!
We we're in the area, and looking for a nice place to eat! We ended up searching Yelp, and found Rigo's Cafe. The food we had was out of this world. We both loved our pasta dishes! Highly suggested!!
This was the first time for are friends and yes they will be back !
