I've been a caregiver working for Right at Home in Scarborough for about a year now. It has been a truly great experience. The office staff is warm, friendly and helpful and the training offered is invaluable. I would recommend them both as a great place to work and a great place to find care or companionship for your loved one.
I have to admit, I am not one to write reviews. However, this company deserves every star in the sky (I wish there were more than 5 on the ratings). The caretakers do such an incredible job with our loved ones because the foundation of the company is so solid. For approximately 1 1/2 years we had a caregiver in 3-4 times a week to feed my mother supper, sit with her, get her ready for bed, and put her into bed. Caregivers were habitually 10-15 minutes late. Unless I contacted Right At Home, they were unaware of the late arrivals. This despite a system whereby caregivers clocked in by phone and GPS only enabled this when their phone was in the vicinity. My very good friend, Margaret Russell, is a client of Right at Home. I visit her often and have gotten to know her caregivers. Ana Mika is an awesome one! She is dedicated, reliable, very caring and kind, and is skilled in her work. She has a wonderful sense of humor and she always makes me smile when I observe how good she and my friend get along.
