As a long distance caregiver for my mother, I found Right@Home to be an invaluable team member. All of the caregivers were kind, thoughtful, and reliable. Everyone with whom I interacted from Right@Home - the front office staff, the administrative staff, the RN, and the caregivers - were responsive and understanding. Right at Home has been such a blessing for our family. My mother would not be able to stay in her home without their outstanding care. We have used them for over 6 years. The caregivers are compassionate and truly care about her as a person and she in turn sees them as part of the family. I found RAH an excellent business to deal with. The interview laid out in clear understandable terms what I could expect to receive and how to contact if changes were required. Caregivers assigned as companions to my wife who has dementia were on time, compassionate and well trained. Any changes or additions to the original requests were handled quickly and thoroughly. Great people to work with. Very satisfied and glad to recommend.
All of the care workers from RAH have been great. However, I am disappointed in how the management of the Hagerstown office did not professionally handle a change in our service. We no longer needed personal care for my aunt but wanted to continue with light cleaning and laundry for my mother. As a result, they cancelled service on the same day it was to be delivered resulting in undue stress for my mother. We had been using them with great success for a few months.
