Right at Home is a great place to work! I have been with this agency for almost a year now and have no complaints. Having worked in facilities with a typically set schedule, I've come to enjoy having the flexibility of home caregiving. We engaged Right At Home Las Vegas to provide care for our elderly parents who lived there without nearby family. The service was paused while they both were in a rehab facility. The day before my mother was to come home, I was in Las Vegas and visited the Right At Home office to agree a care schedule for her. They wrote the schedule by hand and gave it to me. Be extremely cautious before giving Right at Home any deposit. I was denied the return of a “fully refundable” deposit despite there being no ongoing services, no regular care schedule, and no documented balance owed. When I raised these facts, the owner, Shawn Slatter, relied on vague and inconsistent interpretations of the contract rather than addressing its actual language. Working for this company is horrible. But not working for the company seems to be even worse! I do not recommend this company even to my worst enemy. The owner are quick to try and sue you if you dont follow their rules!! The owners only care about money. They don't care about the clients or their caregivers. Amber, one of the main office girls is a liar and need to be fired! I would never want one of my family members to have this company in their home.
