Right at Home is a great place to work! I have been with this agency for almost a year now and have no complaints. Having worked in facilities with a typically set schedule, I've come to enjoy having the flexibility of home caregiving. You still have schedules, but can have a bit more flexibility in this type of caregiver role. Office staff and management is always immediate to discuss any concerns. We engaged Right At Home Las Vegas to provide care for our elderly parents who lived there without nearby family. The service was paused while they both were in a rehab facility. The day before my mother was to come home, I was in Las Vegas and visited the Right At Home office to agree a care schedule for her. They wrote the schedule by hand and gave it to me. Be extremely cautious before giving Right at Home any deposit. I was denied the return of a “fully refundable” deposit despite there being no ongoing services, no regular care schedule, and no documented balance owed. When I raised these facts, the owner, Shawn Slatter, relied on vague and inconsistent interpretations of the contract rather than addressing its actual language. Working for this company is horrible. But not working for the company seems to be even worse!
