I retired recently, so was left without dental insurance for quite a while. The company I retired from setup a dental program for retirees. Although not as good as company insurance, it was better than nothing. Anticipating enrollment, I had let my dental care lapse for about a year and had a problem with one of my crowns about the time my insurance kicked in.
