He listens to you and asks good questions.
I have always received excellent care from Dr. Rifkin. He is a psychiatrist, not a psychologist. I think maybe some of the patients leaving negative reviews don’t understand that his job is primarily medication monitoring, not talk therapy.
Great doc and been going to him for years. He's always accessible if I need him. I am comfortable seeing him and highly recommend him. He's a mellow guy, might not be for everyone. Be he suits me perfectly.
This Doctor neither listens well nor will he document your history of present illness correctly, additionally, he will write completely false and erroneous claims in your medical records. If you have a bad reaction to the medication that he has prescribed you he will ignore your complaint and attempt to convince you to continue on the medication. Then he will falsely document in your medical records (that you will not be allowed to see) that some other medication you are on is the problem when it's not.
I’ve seen this “dr.” Off and on for a few years until just today. He always takes too long to come out of his little office (even if your there early in fact, if your next to be seen, he has no problem making you wait longer and will even take someone else back before you. This is a waste of your time (and money) which is extremely infuriating... It is very true that he just goes through the motions and when it comes down to it, he should not be associated with the medical field...
Robert Rifkin just goes through the motions as he talks to you. Not really interested, just doing a job. Also money-hungry. I missed an appointment and he charged me. Won't be back and I don't recommend him at all.
I like Dr. Rifkin. He listens to my concerns, is willing to change dosages and medications if needed, and listens to my previous history and family history when making changes. If you need certain appointment timess (such as around work hours) it can be tough to get in to see him, but he is always very professional.
Dr. Rifkin provides "professional-level" expertise. He listens carefully, then offers his input. Always offers options.
Dr. Rifkin is very good to listen. He doesn't rush you through your appointment.
