Sean and Jacqui Dowd started Ridgefield Bicycle Company in January of 2011. By combining the existing bike shop in Ridgefield (Ridgefield Cyclesport) and Doctor Mike's Mobile Service, the shop was created. Sean and Jacqui live in Ridgefield with their three kids and wanted the shop to represent their family's passion for cycling and commitment to community. RecommendedRidgefield Bicycle Company has been fantastic to me. I was looking for a bike once quarantine started to keep me moving through my own health difficulties (unrelated) and they set me up with a test drive and a bike within a day. I've now taken to riding to help me through some arthritis/etc. pain as I try a new treatment and it's helped me so so much. Amazing group of people- fun and supportive! Love it!
they were incredibly understanding and generous, not only took our old and rusty tag along bike,( bike trailer) pulled by my seven year old and put it off for recycle, and keep our spirits hight, but almost asure us was going to be okay and sold us one of much greater price for almost nothing. My seven year old Isabella and I were so happy and pleased we couldn't wait to get home and ride together! thank you Jacky and Michael for treating us like family; you guys rock the biking world!!! We've bought 2 mountain bikes, 1 hybrid and 1 road bike from RBC, have always been happy and the bike club really adds to the life of the town, join up.
Just spent a week in the Candlewood Lake area with a Topstone from RBC. Heavenly. Thanks for the great service.
