Our roof job was small and I think that is why other places did not bother calling back. these folks called back. Somebody came out when they said, gave me a figure, and the bill came to that exactly. I'm not going to pretend I understand what any of them actually did up there. The water spot over the front door has not gotten any bigger so that is a win.

Inspected before quoting, then the repair once I said go ahead. The visit was short and I had a written breakdown before anybody started pulling shingles. No pressure on the extra things they noticed, they wrote them down for later and left it at that. The leak over the kitchen window stopped. I'll have them back for the rest of it when i'm ready.

B&J replaced our roof a few months ago and things went well. What stuck with me was how careful they were around the garden beds along the front of the house - my wife spent years on those and I was genuinely worried they'd get trampled. The crew used tarps and stayed on the driveway side when they could. Roof itself looks solid, nice clean edges along the ridge. B&J gave us an estimate and it was pretty no-nonsense, which I appreciated. When the crew showed up they just got right into it - old shingles off, new underlayment down, new shingles on, all in one day. I kept poking my head out to ask stuff and they were good about walking me through what they were doing at each step. Roof looks solid and even from the ground. Hey, thanks

I remember being kind of nervous because I had never dealt with a roofing company before and didn't know what questions to even ask. They person who came out for the estimate walked around with me and sort of pointed things out in a way that made sense without being condescending about it. That mattered a lot to me.
